As an institution of higher learning the College promises to help the students learn broadly, be ready to serve the nation generously, and lead life courageously. St.Anne's College of Education takes its role seriously in the Roman Catholic tradition of people to lead extraordinary lives who are compassion to the poor and the marginalized. More importantly, inspires by the Mother Foundress, Mother Gnanamma, and the College promises to contribute to the liberation and development of women in India who are voiceless and are yearning for a social change. The College is not a just a place where the students learn information and acquire knowledge. But this is a place where they form their character that will be capable of making a difference in their own local communities. Because the College firmly believes that teaching is, not a profession, but a sacred vocation by which every teacher participates in the creative acts of God. |
